Well, sorta...
I joined some time ago at the advice of my friend (allenhm), but haven't really done much with it. I'm finally officially tired of weighing what I do, so I'm doing MyFitnessPal in earnest now. I've gotten my mom interested too!
I'm a 20-yr-old college student who loves horses, photography, art, and music. I'm going to school for graphic design and I work on the web site of a local college. As such, my life is inherently sedentary, so I don't exercise much, but my parents have a NICE treadmill in their room and since I live at home for now I can use it whenever I want. I have two sisters, a cute little mutt, and soon I will have a darkroom in the garage for making prints from film.
Well, I guess that's it! Thanks for reading, and I can't wait to be more involved!

Welcome!
I'm alot older than you- in fact you could be my daughter easily- but we share the love of horses and dogs and also the weight problem. I've been on MFP since January and it helped me fit back into those breeches and boots. Still have 15-20 lbs. to go......
Just thought I'd say hey and welcome a fellow horse girl to the fold. Good luck with it all! You're young and strong and have a metabolism that works- if someone my age can shed lbs that were hanging around for years, you sure can do it too!
My husband is bipolar so I can somewhat understand the difficulty involved in depression. But your depression will be somewhat alleviated by the improved self esteem of getting on the weight loss train.
