Hi! I'm 5'2" starting weight was 153 (highest ever 156)
current weight 134.
goal weight is 115-120 just gonna wait and see
My question is about skin tone in the tummy area. I was very fit up to about age 40 when an injury kinda put me down. Decided to gain control of my life back and have been dieting a working out since Jan. My hubby and I are doing this as a team effort and all is going well but I recently started feeling conderned that I wont get my tummy tone back. I think it's more the skin being flabby than the muscle, anyone else have this problem and correct it without surgery?
My hubby says he doesn't think it's gonna be a big deal but I'm kinda stressing over it. I do cardio 6 days a week, 30DS 3 days a week and go to a Pilates studio 2 hours a week. I work full time so don't have too much time for much else thanks for any help

i'm 41...i have lost almost 60lbs. i am also working on the less-than-firm ab area. it's slowly firming up, but i'm not sure it will ever have the "aesthetic" look that i want. i refuse to have any elective surgery...0

Thanks, I too refuse to have elective surgery. I guess I'm just praying for a miracle. On the upside, I'm feeling better than I've felt in years:laugh:0

I'll be 41 in a couple of weeks and I've noticed a different, um, distribution in weight, shall we say? I always had a flat tummy, gained and lost it in my younger years but this time around I'm noticing it's hanging (literally - sorry!) around much longer. I have about 10 more lbs to lose and usually my thighs are the issue. I dunno. My older sister insists muffin tops are a symptom of menopause. Not psyched about that....still hopeful that the tummy will tighten when I lose the last 10 lbs of fat.0
