I’ve been on MFP since November and lost 25lbs in the off season (yey!)- I’m looking for new friends for my continued journey & to help me get to my ultimate Racing Weight. I’ve lost my momentum and need a new wave ofsupport/motivation/encouragement or even just a new friendly face.

I’m a life long cyclist- I still compete- I’m just one big kid really!
I love being around enthusiastic active people, hey after 35Plus years on 2 wheels, some days you’ve just been there and done that!

I started running in November which ive really enjoyed and try to run for an hour outdoors once a week. I did a 10k a few weeks back and an very proud to say I run!

I have also be going to the gym and have started some strength/core work and I’m starting to sculpt my body.
I know you get to a stage where the scales aren’t important but my fat % is still high for a cyclist and I’m sure I can get to my goal.
If you have any similar interest it would be great to hear your story and share your journey.

    This seems like a fairly quiet group..perhaps we can rev some energy into it, eh? I found you before you posted this, so it must've been telepathy at work.

    I, too, am looking for some fellow cycling friends - beginners on slow bikes or pros on fast bikes. Doesn't matter to me! I do like to snoop at what folks eat mostly for ideas, but also to see what's working (or not) for weight loss.

    So..c'mon...where is everyone? Don't be shy!
