    Thought of more.

    Violent Femmes
Dead Boys/ Lords of the New Church
    GBH
    MDC
    Fear
    Old Siouxsie (Join Hands/Scream era)
    Dramarama
    The Clash (obvious, I know)
    Early Joy Division

Damnit I've gotta get some sleep.

I'm not too keen on the late 70s punk as workout music. Maybe The Stooges, but bands like MC5 and New York Dolls just aren't motivating.

    Early Joy Division
    ...

Early? They were around for so long where do you draw the line for early vs. late? 79 to 80 was early and 80 to 81 late?

I'm actually listening to Failures as I type.

My playlist is about 90% punk. Works great for cardio or lifting. A few of my faves:

    NOFX
    Lagwagon
    The Lillingtons
    Sloppy Seconds
    Good Riddance
    Rancid
    Flogging Molly
    Anti Flag
    Bouncing Souls
    Dropkick Murphys

Kind of sad no ones said:
    7 Seconds
    Subhumans
The Clash (I might have to try a workout to them)
    The Damned
    Bad Brains
    Social D (old ****)
    The Gun Club
Hell, not even the Sex Pistols (I'm not sure if this is a good or a bad thing...hehehe)

But there's some great ones in here too!

Even in a short period of time, there is a beginning and an end. Their very early songs were definitely more punk. Who cares, I love all the Joy Division.
