I just read a blog that stated that doing stomach targeted exercises won't burn the fat in that area. It will only tone the muscle under the fat. They said to get rid of that fat is to get rid of all your fat with hypo caloric diet and exercise – especially aerobic. It makes sense to me, but is it right? Going off this, would it be best to spend the time I use working on sit ups and other stuff targeted on my spare tire on other full body workouts?
