My throat has been killing me. It hurts really bad to swallow anything, even if its just my own saliva or water. And most foods that I've eaten actually burn my throat. So I only managed to eat a packet of oatmeal for breakfast, and 2 cups of that soup at hand soup. Simple foods like grapes, bananas, apples were all too painful to eat. By the end of the day I didn't want to even try to eat anything else because of the pain. I drank tons of water though even though it also was painful to swallow, it was a bit easier than just my saliva. I did end up going to the Doctor and they gave me some anti-biotics. I feel a little better today but it is still a task to swallow but its getting better.
So my question is, do I worry about yesterday as it isn't the norm? Should i try to eat those calories back throughout the week this week or do I just not even look back on that day?

I wouldn't worry about it at all.0

don't worry about it - we all have times in our lives when we're ill, and if the body says don't eat, then I'm happy to listen to it. Just log and continue as normal and hope that your throat feels better soon!0

Have you gone to the doctor? If I were you, I'd be more worried that I had strep throat.
Hang in there and try to stay hydrated.0 -
Don't worry about it, just make sure you get yourself better!0

I wouldn't track calories for a couple of days. Listen to your body, eat if you're hungry.
I say that because you shouldn't feel like you NEED to eat those calories back, but your body may be extra hungry today, and you shouldn't be concerned if you do see some red numbers. So, I'd just quit tracking today and tomorrow and resume again on Friday.0 -
Don't worry about it, but don't worry about being over the next couple of days if you're hungry.
When my throat's sore I tend to drink milk and apple juice (not at the same time).0
