So I had a baby four months ago and I'm breast feeding her. so I am most confused about the calories. I'm planning on just working out and eating healthy with plenty of water and not worry so much about calories? I don't know. but I would still really like to lose more weight. I lost all baby weight with nursing, but still def on the heavy side! need advice on moms who counted calories while nursing. Thank you!

According to Kellymom breastfeeding your baby, on average, burns 200-500 calories per day.
I think the rule of thumb is you'll burn 500 calories if you are exclusively feeding a baby under 6 months. It decreases from there.
Personally, I mostly breastfeed my 9 month old son but also give him some formula. I estimated about 300 calories/day. I am also not going crazy with dieting, but I started limiting my portion sizes last week and watching what I ate. I have already noticed a decrease in my milk supply, so I might beef up my calorie intake a little more.
Good luck!0
