I really need some support and advice

So I am looking for some advice. I have been trying to loose weight for a while now. I've been consistent for 6 weeks, but nothing has happened. I am exercising regularly (cardio: bike and swim 4days/wk / weights 3x) and cut calories. You can look at my journal. I usually stick around 1600 comfortably and on the weekends eat a little more. Please give me a slap on the face on what I need to do to see some results or respond about what worked for you.
Thanks. I appreciate it.

Okay. I went back about a week in your diary. I see a good deal of high carb and high sugar stuff thrown in among what is otherwise very healthy eating. You know my thing - I say cut out those grains and sugars, and keep it to one serving of fruit in a day. Watch your sodium closely. And track your water - you don't need to drink a ridiculous amount, but you should make a conscious effort to get at least 6, if not 8 glasses a day.
I know that many will say that "cheating" is okay on the weekends or occasionally, but I truly believe that it's just reinforcing a food addiction, and making it harder to stay healthy.
Feel free to discard this advice - you have to do what's right for you. But you asked, so I told you.
Best of luck, babe,

Another idea would to take your measurements. You may be losing inches and not pounds and not even know it.0

Ok, maybe I am crazy, but I don't really see any consistency in the number of calories you are eating every day. It looks like mfp set you up with 1200 calories per day, and on the days you exercise you get more calories to eat. I am not saying not to eat those calories back, by all means, I don't like to operate on 1200 cals either, and as many people on here can vouch for, sometimes eating more calories is what you need. That being said, you seem to go so far over your calories, fat, and carbs on most days that I wouldn't be surprised if you started to gain weight. There is nothing wrong with wanting a beer on a friday, or treats on the weekend, but with so many days where you are gong 1000+ calories over your daily goal, it suggests to me that you might need to pay more attention to how those calories fit into you eating plan. From what I can tell, you might want to pay more attention to portion sizes, as an easy way to start cutting back calories. I had the same problem when I started mfp, I ate fairly healthy, but was eating say a bowl of cheerios for breakfast, which ended up being 2 of the recommended servings. I slowly cut back, and now I eat one serving (measured out), with equal parts milk, and it has really freed up a lot of calories for me to eat throughout the day. So, I think really paying attention to how much over you are going on your calories, and definitely paying attention to fat and carbs should help. Great job on the exercising though!! Keep that up!0

Completely agree with Amy.
I totally think that a huge part of it has to be mental. Think about what you put in your body as "is this necessary or not" and "is this going to fuel my body efficiently or not".
I also don't believe in cheat days. It's a lifestyle change or it's not, there really is no in between, you know?
When I started my journey, I did the first 3 weeks on a pretty strict diet and exercise regimen, and my diet was no extra sugar, no alcohol, no junk, with a net of 1200 calories a day. Not only did it work, but after nearly a month of eating incredibly healthy, I really didn't have cravings for bad food anymore.
Our bodies and minds learn by repetition. I've actually been on my program for almost 3 months and now I crave protein smoothies instead of gummy worms and I feel weird if I go a day without a work out.
Maybe you could commit to a certain amount of time with zero cheats and see how you feel after that?0 -
Thank you for your responses!0
