Heya guys I am getting married next year and I would like some reception music ideas of songs that you can't help but get up and shake your @$$ to.
Example- ABC Jackson Five, King Floyd- Groove me Baby

Old, New, Any Style but please make them songs people probably know and have heard before (not a huge fan of country but my grandma line dances so any songs good for that I'll take)

I like older songs too because most of my guests are my family and I want them to feel comfortable dancing to music they grew up with too, and let's face it some songs just don't get old.

    we had lots of fun stuff at our wedding- one of the only groups my husband and I agree on (he's a metalhead, and I'm NOT) was Queen - so we had some fun Queen stuff, and all sorts of things. You can even poll your guests ahead of time and find out what they like too.. and you can through a little YMCA in there- just for the heck of it. Sweet Home Alabama gets requested in our fam a lot too....lol

    A reception is not complete without "Shout."

    For slow songs, we put together all the songs that our close friends and immediate family used as first dances at their weddings. They loved it!
