I manage a storage facility and today is my store's lien auction. This means that like the popular TV show, we will auction off storage units to the highest bidder. This is the only part of my job that people find interesting so I figured I write a little bit about it.

There will be about 20 bidders here today to bid on 2 units. That's right, there are only 2 units in this sale so we are losing that "Hollywood" appeal already.

1 unit belongs to a woman who is in jail. Pretty exciting, huh? She a drug addict who commited some type of fraud. Her family is unable to pay her bill, but they are going to come in and bid on the unit in hopes of keeping their pictures and heirlooms.
