ALWAYS OVER MY CARB DAILY ALLOWANCE?

It doesn't seem to matter how hard I try but I'm always just going over my daily carb allowance of 203. My calorie and fat content are always under, and I know that's the main thing, but all the things I eat are obviously high in carbs.
So my question is, I need alternatives to swap my normal evening meal things that are bumping my carbs up, I need lower carb alternatives to jacket potato, pasta and chicken, any suggestions?
Thanks so much
Caroline

Fresh veggies, especially dark, leafy greens are very low in calories and carbs. You can roast them, stir fry them in olive or safflower oil, steam them, grill them, make a soup, whatever. Zucchini is awesome, as is broccoli, broccoli, tomatoes, and onions.
Last week I made chili out of zucchini, bell peppers, and onions. It was delish!
If you must have pasta, use whole-grain and eat it with fish, lean chicken or beans and some veggies.
Use less of the starchy foods like corn and carrots and potatoes.0 -
I treat carbs as a "sometimes" food. My lunches and dinners are protein and veggies pretty much. Carbs aren't a necessity in EVERY meal. In fact, I try to have NO carbs (at least things like breads or crisps) in almost all meals.0
