newbie: seeking motivation!

Hey guys! I just joined this site about five minutes ago on a whim. I've been looking around for weeks though...success stories mostly, and I wanted to see what else it had to offer!

The Problem: I just ate my weight in food! I'm headed on a beach trip in a few months...trying to lose weight and tone up before then! I've been doing the 30 day shred. eight days in and I'm already cheating.
Need some serious motivation here! Anything will do...I'm just so worried I'll never be able to realize my fitness goals, especially with all the pressure I get from society, etc.
Success Stories, pictures, or a few words of encouragement/experience. pretty please. thanks!
