So this is pretty much day 1 of SERIOUSLY trying to lose the 40 pounds that crept up on me over the last 4 years of working and going to grad school. I finished last summer with my degree, but my habit of sitting on my butt on my computer every night did not. I made a resolution to lose 40lbs by my 40th b-day in August, so I guess it's time to get busy! :) Trying to figure out what kind of workout routine to set up so I am successful. I have a full-time job with 3 boys in activities, a husband and often have 7:30am meetings at work. Any suggestions?

HI! :) I'm trying to seriously lose 35 lbs myself...that crept up in just over a year! TERRIBLE. I'm a single mom with one son and a full time job AND college. Right now I'm trying to walk on my treadmill at least 3-4 times a week. My son plays in the living room while I walk. I also do crunches and then when he goes to bed, I have a couple yoga dvds that I work out to. I also utilize my son :) He makes a good 36 lb weight! And I count calories like it's my JOB!!! Good luck on your journey!!!
