I'm getting my period about 1-2 weeks early.
It sucks!

I never had it were it came more often. I know if you lose too much weigh you might not have one every month.0

Mine is usually between 1 - 3 weeks late, and this month it was bang on time and I have been excersising.
So maybe the two are connected?0 -
yeah it throws my cycle off too0

Hi,
Yes. Since I started this site, my friend has changed! It came a little earlier then expected. It also changed color. Instead of bright red, it was a lighter shade. I also didn't have a headache before the visit. I do have to say that I was as wiped out for the first 2 days, as I usually am, and I was hoping that would change. Maybe in time!
As far as exercise, I am exercising more regularly as well. I bet all the good things we are doing are helping that friend be more efficient too!
I am eating better and have lost 5 lbs. since my last period, so hopefully the good changes continue to happen.
I am sure you have changed your eating habits as well. Are you eating healthier food?

Yes, I've had this. Sometimes if you suddenly decrease your caloric intake while making a sudden jump in the amount of exercise you do, you'll start...let's see...how to say this...meeting your friend at all sorts of unexpected times! Week 2, Week 3, whenever. It freaked me out at first but then I did some reading and this is actually common.
However, if you actually STOP having periods, this is a sign that you're doing too much and your body fat is dropping too much - a lot of serious athletes have this problem and eventually it can affect fertility (just temporarily).
However, I'm guessing none of us have that particular problem because we are using this website!

I started about 2 days early - and I'm on the pill so I can usually pin it down to the hour!0

My changed but for the good this time. I didn't have any noticable PMS symtoms and I had one heavy day and the others were light whereas I usually have a couple heavy days. Also this time, I did not have any cramping like I usually do.0

mine comes and goes. Annoying isn't it? No stomach aches this time .. so far. But I wish my friend would go home already.0

Oh....I can totally relate. My period has been regular for like 8-10 years. This past month I actually made a post because my period started a week after it ended and it lasted until the next "normal" time. So, that's like 3 weeks of a light period (but enough to need to wear something)! FRUSTRATING! But this week it stopped again (normal) so we'll wait and see what happens this month. I think my hard-core exercising began after New Years and I think it just totally shocked my body. So, I think this is normal. But, if it doesn't go back to the norm, I would talk to a professional. I'm giving my body another month. Hopefully this helps a little!

I don't get it. Last month it was like I never even got it....no cramps, no crabbiness (my husband was thrilled), the days just came and left. NOW...Ive been spotting for 5 days and im not due for another 10 days. Im just assuming its the exercise..I HOPE SO!! Like us women don't go through enough:sad:
Thanks for all of your feedback:flowerforyou:0 -
Sometimes your body has to adjust to new things. If it keeps happening, I would call the doc.0

Since changing my diet and starting to exercise I was over a week LATE getting my period and it had me a bit nervous! lol
I had my longest cycle to date (34 days) and was glad when AF finally came. I gotta say it was weird and very light and then the third day it kicked in better and now is almost gone (day 5)......so it HAS changed my period somewhat I'd say.
oh and if anyone is interested, this is a great free website........
