The dietitian here at Tomah Hospital writes:
One thing we can all do to make eating healthy a little easier is to stock up on fruits, vegetables, lean protein foods, and low fat dairy products at home. We can only eat as healthy as the foods we have available. When you have a late meeting or event, try to pack your evening meal including some fruits and vegetables. If you don't have time to pack a full meal, try to pack fruits and vegetables to eat with a sandwich you buy. This way you can skip the higher fat side dishes in restaurants, and still feel like you have eaten a meal.
