Silly NSV - my feet got skinny and my cool sandals are too loose!
My weight goal reward (WGR): going on a horseback ride once I am under 200! Scheduled for next week!
NSV - at the trail run event on Saturday they were out of the shirtsize I wanted so had to get a medium instead of a large - IT FIT!
NSV - I bought size 12 dresses yesterday (started between a 20 and a 22!)0 -

This thread has kept me accountable and extra diligent about logging and working out. Insanity is still kicking my butt but it's getting a little better each day.

The fact you're still coming on and posting the gains is a good sign, I'd be more worried if you disappeared entirely, so keep going and I'm sure your mojo will return
I'm finding that I'm loving my exercise now for the first time ever, and I hate it when I know I won't have time in the day to workout!! The kettlebells are great fun and I can see it changing my body shape, especially making my bum less flabby which I didn't expect when I started out on the kettlebells, haha!!0 -

Phew, at least I will be posting a loss this month (as long as I don't have a 3 day binge) but I'm behind now with my long term goal to be at goal by the end of this year. Need to stop having blowouts and spending 2 weeks trying to undo it and get back to where I was before the blowout!
So far a loss of 1.8 lbs this month....hmmm doesn't look as good, but it's all in the right direction I suppose0 -

16/4 187.2-I always lose a tonne of water weight the week i start usually 4-5 pounds but that loss of 8 must include some fat! It will be slow and steady from now on!
22/4-185.7-Weighed in a day early cause i am going to be super busy tomorrow. Another (-1.5) Loss!
30/4 183-Final weigh in for april! Delighted its my first month here and I have lost 12lbs. I am in the new section of the BMI chart range with my BMI at 30. Getting there! See you all again in may0 -

Only ended up dropping 3 lbs. for April, but given the recovery from cardiac surgery in March and just getting back to regular exercise levels about a week ago, I'll take it.
A couple of NSVs for me include finally being cleared to drive a car after my surgery ... just last week ... being cleared to sleep on my side/stomach ... just last week .... finally being able to get back into the gym ... just last week. I also had a revelation, actually more like an increased education, on calorie intake and losing weight. Before my surgery, I was losing, consistently, 10 or more lbs. per month. I was doing this by exercising and eating my calories back. What I didn't realize, at the time, is that was putting me in a position to eat more than my BMR each day. After my surgery, I went at least three weeks with no additional exercise and another three weeks with very limited exercise. In going back and looking at my food diary, on the no-exercise days, I stayed under the MFP calorie recommendations of 1900 calories, but that also put me below my BMR of 1920 or so ... I was probably eating around 1,700 calories or so each day or less. Even with light exercise when I was starting my rehab, I found myself coming in under the 1,920 on most days. While I've seen folks talk about that 1,200 calorie floor, I'm convinced more than ever, that issues around plateaus, at least in my case, are probably tied to BMR. I'll get to test that theory in May!
Like I said, 3 lbs. in a month certainly isn't where I've been based on the previous four months' worth of output ... all 10 lbs. or more ... but any month where the end of the month is lower than the start of the month is not a bad thing!0 -

well I failed 2 months in a row reaching a 5 lbs loss. it seems like i keep gaining and losing the same 1-2 lbs In May i will reach my 5 lb goal dammit!!!!
