58 pounds down and 58 pounds to gooooo!
I'd like to thank all of my MFP friends, Zumba, (MYSELF for FINALLY getting it!!!) and last but not least my Metabolic Disease Specialist!
My goal is 150 and after I reach that one I'll reevaluate, I'm 5'4" and lost the first 50 pounds doing a low calorie (1,200 calorie) diet and eating back my exercise calories, that was working ok until I sent my body into starvation mode and gained 5 pounds back. Per information I found in the forums (Thanks Helloitsdan!) I realized that by eating at my BMR and eating my exercise calories back I would be doing my body A LOT more favors! I've been eating at 1700 calories a day for 2.5 weeks and lost the 5 pounds I had gained back, plus another 8...Yes, I realize some/most of that may have been water weight.
So to cut this short (I know, haha short-I just rambled on for waaaayyyy too long for it to be short!) I just wanted to say thanks to my MFP friends & people in the forums because without trying something else those pounds lost this week wouldn't have happened for me. I know everyone is different and not everyone will agree but that's ok, just listen to your body and do this the healthy way!
Have a great, healthy day!
