Eating at BMR+ and friends

Hey everyone--

I just recently figured out I need to be eating above my BMR (luckily I've only been counting for the past week or so, so it's not causing a huge upheaval to what I'm doing), but am finding it difficult to eat so much. I also feel that since I'm eating so many calories, I need to make sure what I'm eating is good, or at least good enough. I have my goal set to lose 41 pounds, and could probably stand to lose more, but I'm waiting until I get there to make that determination. So it's not like things have to be so delicately tweaked to lose the last few pounds.

I set my food diary on public so people could maybe give me some feedback--I am very concerned about my amount of carbs, fats, proteins, etc. (maybe due to being brainwashed over the past 10 years or so by the Atkins fad, which I totally get is dangerous). I also have trouble reconciling the high level of calories/carbs/proteins because I am not an athlete. I have yet to begin exercise and when I do, I can't imagine I'll ever feel "athletic". Maybe I should just get over my exercise-phobia and work out until it kills me? Hahah. I just say that cause I'm probably being way too easy on myself on exercise.

Anyway, would love friends, too! You don't have to constantly support me or whatever--but I'm getting kind of lonely just tracking calories and randomly posting on this forum!
