I read somewhere once that getting too little sleep can affect weight loss. Anyone know if there is truth to this? Sorry if this a repeat topic. I am relatively new to the message boards.

Yes, it is true. Getting a good night's sleep is an important part of losing weight and health.0

Absolutely true. Get 6-8 hours every night.0

Very true. I personally found that I was losing weight slower when I was sleeping less, or had a bad night sleeping0

yes, a 6-8hr sleep per night is the target. Anything less or more is bad for your weight loss journey0

Thanks for the replies. Anyone know the reasoning behind it? I am usually in bed for 6-8 hours a night, but I wake up at least 3-4 times a night, even when I work out to exhaustion and I wonder if this is effecting my weight loss.0
