Does counting calories bum you out?

I'm sure it can't just be me that gets bummed out at the thought of counting calories for the rest of my life... I have had success maintaining weight with "intuitive eating," which is what I'd like to do once I reach my goal weight. What about you? Do you really plan on counting calories for the rest of your life?

I don't plan on counting the rest of my life. I've learned a lot about what kinda nutrients and calories are in foods. I can usually guesstimate and still be around my calorie range. I will count calories until I reach my goal weight and then just monitor my foods.

I don't think you need to count calories the rest of your life. I've only been counting calories for 5 months now and I have a pretty good idea on my own on how I'm doing with my net colorie goals. I intend to keep counting until I reach my weight goal and a little after that since my net calorie goal will change since I won't be doing weight loss anymore.
