Torn/pulled quad ? I need help

3 weeks ago during soccer my match I felt a rubberbandy snap in my quad. I've been doing the RICE method and since started applying heat...I have been taking it easy and sitting out until last night. Against better judgement I made an attempt to play, but took myself out of game 15 min. in. Quad started bruising immediately so I'm back to icing.....i have been told it could take between 4-6 weeks to heal. I need to be healed by June for a tournament.
Docs/personal trainers/physical therapists- I need advice/help, what can I do that I'm not doing....or is it as simple as staying off of it?

No expert here but i have suffered from this myself. Problem is that it can feel fine walking around but as soon as you stress it you can be back to square one. So you will want to start doing light work on it rather than geting back at playing. Still 9 weeks to June so you have the time to let it heal and build up your match fitness again. If you hurry it you wont be playing anything in June.0

Definiately see a doctor.
But for now, staying off of it is really all you can do0
