I have been trying so hard to diet for years, but I am not having much luck. I think part of the problem is meal planning. I don't know what to eat during the day and at what time. I hear 6 small meals a day is a good way to go, then I hear that only 3 meals is the best way. How much fruit should you have? How much meat? Do you really need 8 cups of water a day?
It seems like you almost have to be a scientist to figure this out. . Does any one have any suggestions. It would be greatly appreciated..!

1. Meal frequency has no effect on metabolism. This was proven a long time ago. So eat when you are hungry
2. How much fruit/meat you should have depends on your goal.
3. It is silly to believe that everyone needs 8 cups of water a day. Drink when you are thirsty.
