    both.

I use low reps for my main compound lift of the day. Between 1-5 reps usually.
Then I do some stuff with higher reps. Pullups are usually sets of 10. Rows are the same.

And I'll do some high rep pressing every now and then.

I keep it simple...everything is in a 5x5 format. To choose my weight, the first time, I find a weight that I can't do more than 6 or 7 reps of...and that is my starting point. It usually needs some small adjustment...but not much. Also, every time I perform a specific lift (I rest 3 days between specific exercises and perform that lift on the 4th day), I try to increase by 5lbs if it's a one armed exercise, 10lbs if it uses both. Sometimes I can't, most times I can.
