My body is rebelling

We had a potluck at work yesterday and I ate like I did before I started MFP. This morning at 2am I was in terrible pain. It was quite unpleasant, but it makes me feel better knowing that my body doesn't want me to eat like that. I just wish my brain would catch up with my stomach. My biggest problem is that my stomach says I am full, but the rest of me wants to keep eating because it tastes so good.

Hope everyone had a good memorial day.

Thanks for all the support that I get on this site. It has been a godsend to me. I have never been able to loose the weight the way I am loosing it now. :flowerforyou:

I am the exact same way. I always feel great when I eat like I should; and when I don't, my body definitely lets me know. I have the same brain-stomach problem too. I know when to stop eating, but sometimes I don't because it tastes good, or it's a special occasion, or whatever my excuse of the day is. Know that you're not alone in this, and take it as a good sign that your body is sending you the right eating signals now. Get right back to eating right, and take this as a learning experience.

    Good luck!

I totally understand! I ate a bit ol' piece of cake last week (don't worry I worked it into my calories for the day!) and my stomach hurt so much that night! When sometime tastes really good it is so hard to stick to a portion size, even when I know I am full.
