Hey everyone
sooo my problem is I'm 23 years old and at this point the main acitivity me and my friends do is go to the bars
I'm not so much worried about the drinking, but the munchies and the hangover that go with it
I'm sorry worried about losing a day at the gym and going over my calories I have started staying home all the time
I also won't go out for dinners anymore becasue I don't like restaurant food
I'm too young to stay in every night
Has anyone else experienced this problem
And how did you solve it??

    hey lady!

I am in the same boat. This weekend proved to me why I don't go out! lol I went out two nights in a row, and was toast for the next days and totally failed at working out!

My suggestion would be to find things to do that don't leave you too tired the next day. Movies are great (share the popcorn or bring in your own). Shopping is always good. I try to spend time with my friends during the day more so I don't feel as guilty when I don't go out every night with them.

Or you could go out to the bar, but just go home earlier. It's better to go out for a couple hours than not at all right? There's a Yuk Yuk's in Barrie, yea? That's always a good for a laugh and a fun night out. You can go out for that, enjoy a few drinks and if your friends want to go out to a bar after, that's a good time for you to head home without seeming too much like you're bailing.

I'm also a big fan of dinner parties. That way you have more control over what you eat and there's not as much pressure to drink as much. My friends and I rotate hosting duties and usually it's a bit of a pot luck. It's a nice relaxing night in with good food and friends and I'm not totally exhausted the next day. I find people don't stay as late at someone's house as we do at a bar.

Hope that helps with some ideas :)

I'm the same way, if it is somewhere without nutrition info online then I'm not going. I get super paranoid about eating something I think is good and it is actually bad or high in sodium. I hang out with a lot of supportive friends who have become really accepting of the places I am comfortable with. Drinking isn't as much of a problem because since I've started losing weight I find my tolerance has decreased a lot so I'm a one or two drink max and I try to stick to crown and diet coke which is only around 60 calories per shot.

I think its just your priortys change and what may have been a fun time is kinda just bland overdone . I still go out once in a while with my other friends but i also went out and made friends that were into what i was into now .
