Dealing with Injury

Hi Everyone,
Three years ago I suffered a pretty serious injury involving fracturing two vertebrae in my neck, and damaging nerves and six other disks. I'm mobile, but needless to say nowhere near what I used to be, which was highly active. Unfortunately, my love for food and cooking haven't calmed down with the activity level, and I've managed to gain fourty pounds. People say I look fine, but you know how it is... until you can look in the mirror and say, "hey I like me!", or buy a size that doesn't frighten you, you can't be happy with yourself. I'm hoping I can get into using MFP faithfully, and maybe get to know others that are struggling as well
