Hey so its been a week since I joined and I weighed myself, I have lost 0! I'm so gutted and what makes it worse is the boyfriend has lost 2lb!
I've been eating well, exercising until my legs are jelly and been drinking plenty of water, he on the other hand has been eating pre-made sandwiches and ice-creams.
How is this fair?!
Any ideas on why I've not lost anything? I wasn't expecting a stone to drop off but a lb or two would of been great,
Thanks guys :)
Abbi xx

Even if you are eating healthier, you could still be consuming more calories. Are you staying under your daily goal? If so, just be patient, you will start losing weight soon

t will come off!! Dont give up sometimes I lose nothing for weeks (or even gain) then I lose like 4lbs over night. Keep at it and it will come off you can do it!!!

Also make sure you are measuring everything and make sure you eat enough, I know that sounds weird but when I was only eating like 1200 calories a day I didnt lose at all, but at 1400 its coming iff great! And if you are not already try eating your exercise calories, for me I have to or I hit a plateu. It may take a couple weeks but you will fund your sweet spot!

What are you netting for calories?
How are you counting your calories?
How are you measuring your food?
How are you measuring your exercise calories?

Also, if your legs are jelly, then you have retained water in order for your muscle to repair.

If you've just started a workout regimen, then it will take a couple of weeks for your body to catch up. That is if you are doing everything correctly.

Guys lose it fast for some reason, it is unfair and it sucks! My husband can lose 20 lbs in the time it takes me to lose 4.

Just consider this a life long journey to be healthy, not a diet. Put a way the scale and do what is right for you, then it will naturally start falling off.

Eating healthy and getting exercise should be a part of our every day life style, not something we do just to lose weight real fast to go back to doing what ever it was before. Take it slow and steady, I promise you will never EVER regret one day of it.

Exactly, the male metabolism is a wonderful thing (for them, sigh). My husband can always tell when I'm dieting because he starts losing weight.

You are probably gaining muscle, or it was water weight. Give it another few days and weigh again, I bet you'll see a loss. Good luck!
