ok so ive been bidding on ebay like crazy for the past two weeks for a polar heart rate monitor and yea i never win. so neway i see one from acumen and i was just curious if anyone has this HRM and if it works well or is a piece of crap?

    Dunno, but check Amazon for the Reebok RBK Precision Trainer XT Heart Rate Monitor ... there are a few left going for under $30.

    is the reebok one comparable to the others and just as good?

    Reebok is one of the favorites here along with Polar. I have Polar but I hear Reebok is just as good.

    From what I hear the only difference is that the Polar requires you to ship it to them to change the batteries....but you can do it yourself on the Reebok. Other than that, they are comparable.

    i went ahead and ordered the reebok one i got it for 33 bucks with shipping and tax. so we will see how i like it.
