New Jogging Time and endurance NSV!

I was trying to get my run in before the storms came through southeast Texas. Well, I beat the storm and my own personal time!!! 34 min. for 5k! I jogged 2 miles non-stop! Never done that before! Walked 1/4 mile, then jogged the rest! Whoo-Hoo! My goal is to run the whole 3.2 miles, no walking and eventually get it in 30 min.!

  • Wow! That's awesome! Running is something that takes a lot of stamina and will power to complete. This shows you are becoming much stronger and healthier. :) I hope I can reach your level soon!

    That's fantastic and what an inspiration! I'm just starting out on the C25K and I'm finding it very tough. Congrats!

    Congrats! Thats great! I have the same goal - 5k in 30 minutes!

    I'm doing c25k at the moment and today finished W5 D3. Sooo pleased with myself - I ran for 23 minutes straight :) I don't have a gps so not sure of exact distance but I think its around 3.5kms!! A big achievement for me!

    Keep up the good work - you'll reach your goal before you know it!

    Awesome time! I'm on week 2 of C25K, and my normal walk/run route is 5K. I'm SO looking forward to being able to run the whole thing. Right now it takes me just about 45 minutes. Kudos to you!

    Thanks, all! I'm hoping it doesn't rain tomorrow afternoon, so I can do it again! I'm really wanting to run the entire 5k. I will push myself. I want to do this before Summer!
