Before I started this, I already lost 30 pounds by myself no help with a calorie counter. Now that I am doing this omg, I am afraid to eat anything. I am afraid to waste calories. Its driving me insane cus I say to myself dont eat it, even if its healthy, dont eat it your too freakn fat too eat. Now I see, with all the discussions about eating so much Maybe what I eat regular n healthy, maybe thats way too much n need to cut to bird size portions. My god I am becoming obsessed. I only been on here since Monday. I am more aggravated with this and frustrated. Its like I am going to war with myself.

First things first.... breathe! It can be overwhelming at first, especially with so much new information being thrown at you in such a short period of time. Take your time and choose where your focus is going. Instead of obsessing over each detail, try starting slowly. For example, focus on your calories first and see how your choices fit into your day. Yes, there are good and bad foods but just stay away from the obviously bad ones for now instead of swearing off everything. Soon you will learn which foods your body reacts to and will be able to start watching your macros as well. Hang in there, MFP is a great resource to have! Sometimes it just takes some time to learn eveything about it.

Huge congrats to the 30lbs already lost on your own! It shows you do have the dedication to reach your goal. Hang in there!

I now it can be hard to decide what is best to eat. Maybe if you plan your meals out in advance it would help you . I would also suggest a food scale. Walmart has them for 20 and they really help you to see proper serving sizes. Good work so far your weight loss and keep up the good work.

I always plan my meals ahead of time and have every calorie accounted for before breakfast. lol That way I know what I am eating is fine, and not to mindlessly munch on food that hasn't been planned.
It is pretty easy to get obsessed though. The planning ahead is what gave me the ability to not give up.
