New and short but not overweight - still wanting to lose!

Hi all, I've actually been using MFP for about a month and started working out seriously a fortnight ago. According to the calculator I'm not over weight:
SW: 130
CW: 126
GW: 110
But being only 5ft 2" every pound shows and I'm determined to get fit and healthy before I turn 30! Plus I have a wardrobe full of size 10 trousers and jeans that don't fit...
Anyone else out there with similar goals and any tips for losing a smaller amount of weight compared to others? I have a wedding and a clothes shopping trip to Singapore at the end of May so really want to lose as much as possible in around 8 weeks....
