Skin Color

Does anyone notice their skin getting darker after you've started to exercise regularly?? I'm sure that sounds RIDICULOUS but I've noticed my skin getting (evenly) darker everywhere, not just the exposed areas.
I found that a lot of body builders are dark/tan but I didnt find any actual information about this on the web, other than a few recommendations from body builders to go tanning because "it makes your skin tighter."
This is a serious question, I'm not looking for sarcasm or jokes.
Thanks.

bodybuilders tan or use spray-ons to help accentuate the definition in their muscles. It creates better shadowing.0

bodybuilders get tan to show more definition on stage.. if you walked up on stage pale. the stage lights would pretty block out all definition.0

My skin color hasn't changed but my complexion is brighter if that makes any sense. I can only attribute that to the increased blood circulation in my body after a good workout and the healthy fresh foods I constantly eat.0
