As the subject states, my name is Mark I'm 24 years old and I've been an Active Duty Soldier since June 2009. Currently stationed in Fort Gordon and the reason I joined MFP is to lose enough weight to get back into my deployment size which is medium. I was 185lbs and eating whatever I wanted for awhile. I got on a Permanent profile for my knee shortly after my redeployment and since I've stopped running almost 5 days a week I've been gaining weight. I have 1 uniform that I went out and bought that is a large and it fits good but the problem is that I have 5 medium uniforms that are tight on me. It's a time for change and I cannot fail this time. If I fail I'll just get fatter and it could hinder my career in the Army. Need all the motivation I can get. Add me sn: Guildwars1987

Keep at it man. Whats the limits on your profile? Can it get better with time? Do what you can but dont hurt yourself more.

    ETA, thanks for serving

I got a P2 Run at pace and distance. I can no longer keep up with company runs and my knee throbs for days after running. I went to physical therapy for about 3 months to no avail so I'm pretty screwed lol.

A P2 aint the death of ya. Talk with the Docs more about different PT. Maybe you can try to hit up the MWR pool. Swimming it a good work out can even mix in some calisthenics between laps. Listen to your knee.
I know theres a stigma your fighting with being hurt.... it one thing the army can be bad about, but do what you can to improve without hurting yourself more and hope for the best.
