When I go to gym I always wonder which one should go first ?
1. Cardio
2. Stretch
3. Resistance

I do it in the above order.

I recently read you should do this:

    weights
    cardio
    stretch

the idea is that once you are done with weights and you go to cardio you will be burning more fat during the cardio than in the reverse order

    personally

    cardio warm up (10 min)
    weights
    cardio workout (30-60 min)
    stretch

I hear it's best to stretch last (post workout). Stretching before your workout isn't necessary. As far as Cardio/resistance, I don't think it matter's which one you do first. I like to get my cardio out of the way and do it first thing.

I usually do cardio first, then weights, then stretching.

A personal trainer told me you should do your weights before your cardio because you use more of your muscles to lift instead of your adrenaline from the cardio.

alot of studies say weight first.

I do cardio first as right now weight loss is my priority and I want to get my heart rate up. Then I lift trying to keep my heart rate up as I lift (no standing around jaw jacking)

I read in Oxygen that if you're trying to lose weight, its best to do cardio.... then weights... and vice versa for maintenance or to gain muscle

I guess the bottom line is to

always warm up........then do the exercise you want to put the most energy into.

    I personally shake it up!!
