My breathing during running is amazing! I can breath through my nose while running, I never get out of breath anymore and can hold a conversation! But my body wants to give out before I want to. My legs get really tired. Does anyone else get this?
Plus I'm at that stupid awkward stage of having really nice calves but have a muffin top going on. I hope it passes quickly. :-/

Yes, and you will always get it.
Fortunately as you become a better/fitter/more well trained runner it will take longer and further before your legs get that fatigued feeling.
The respiratory system is not the limiter in most running, only in very high intensity efforts or for a very new runner is getting enough air the problem.0 -
Ah, ok. Thanks! I struggled pretty bad at first but my breathing got better pretty quickly. It was my lack of air that stopped me when I first started so I assumed that my legs would get used to it a lot quicker as well but now I know! :-)0

It takes time for the muscles to adapt to new demands. One of the benefits of running is that, over time, that you increase the number of mitochondria and capillary density in the muscle fibre which results in the ability to do more work.

What helped me with this was sprinting on the stairs in the park and leg exercises. Regular hill workouts and sprints will make your legs stronger too.0
