Prilosec?

I was wondering if anyone else around here had any experience with Prilosec and an inability to lose weight? I've gone through the weight loss process twice before in my life and both times my body was quite predictable and the weight came off pretty much right on cue based on calories in and estimated TDEE. I'm 100% confident in my calorie totals but something just seems different this time around. The only difference I can think of is the Prilosec and a quick Google search reveals that lots of people have had issues with weight gain while on Prilosec.

I'm usually pretty skeptical of side effect claims of medications. However, based on my previous experiences, my body should be reacting differently to the things I've been doing to it lately. Anyone else have any similar experiences?

I'm not sure about that, but every body reacts uniquely to medications, and it could be possible this is the way you react.. if you want to see for sure, stop the prilosec.. but don't replace it with nexium or protonix, they are both proton pump inhibitors too..try zantac, it's not in the same class.
