Ciao to all!
REALLY a great great GREAT site!
I started a week ago and I found it amazing!
But...
MFP, based on my age, height etc... has said that my BMR is about 2050 kcal, while my scale, that knows about my fat, my bones, my water and my muscles says that my BMR is about 1800 kcal.
Who's right? And in case my scale is right, is the case that I modify MFP software parameters?
There are no ways to manually change the BMR_

  • I reply by myself: 2050 is NOT BMR, but the amount of calories I need to live (BMR) PLUS kind of job, homework or exercises and others every days activities.
    Now everything is clear.

Go to the goals tab, then custom. You can change many things under custom--protein-carb-fat ratios, daily calorie goal, and various other nutrients can be adjusted here.

    Welcome!
  • Thanks a lot.
I'll give an eye on it.
