Really want to incorporate more veggies and fruits in my diet; so decided to try a smoothie for breakfast this AM! This is my first time trying spinach in a smoothie (that I know of)..and while I can't say I taste spinach... There is an aftertaste I can't quite identify. It's tolerable, and really could be me psyching myself out.

1 cup organic baby spinach
1 whole medium sized banana
1 cup frozen cherry/berry blend (cherries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
1/2 cup organic skim milk
1/4 cup organic lowfat vanilla yogurt

Blend until smooth!

Yum!

Anyone know of something I can substitute for the banana?

maybe too much kale. it's hard to drink down.. but i will. i'll maybe add 1/2 banana next time to sweeten it up.
i'll take it w/me and drink it on the way to the gym.
