I encourage those to read this if you have said the following things...

- I cant seem to lose the last 10-15 lbs
- I only do cardio ( I am NOT bashing cardio - I am training for a half myself )
- I want to lift weights but dont want to "bulk up"
- I am at my goal weight, but I don't look like I thought I would/want to

    Women won't bulk up. We don't have enough testosterone in our bodies to create the big muscles that guys can. Weightlifting gets a bad rap, but I lost a full size in the first two months I started a program without losing a pound. Muscle weighs more than fat, but it's a lot smaller. It also burns way more calories than fat. Little old ladies in my gym heft an amazing amount of weight in Bodypump class and on the free weights, and are lean and elegant. There are lots of books and articles about weightlifting for women.
