I been losing weight since october uptill now i lost 28 lbs but in the last month i have only lost 3 lbs where i should have lost 8 and i have been hitting my goals so my thought was this week stop dieting eat the amount i need and not work out

Is this a god idea? i was hoping to hit it back hard next week to kick start the weight loss

Weight loss isn't linear. Continue on plan.

I would need a lot more information than you have given to give an answer. At the very least being able to see your food/exercise diary, needing to know what sort of workouts you do, have you changed anything recently, how much do you still have to lose, what is your weekly weight loss goal, and the like.

I'm allowed to eat 2080 calories a day which i would say by the end of the week on average i'm under by around 100, i work out 3 or 4 times a week doing circuit training, spinning and some times rugby training

I have chnaged nothing to my knowledge i still have 22 lb to go to the weight what i want and i'm trying to lose 2 lbs a week

I would first of all stop trying to lose 2 pound a week. If you have only 22 pounds left, 1 pound a week will probably work better. Again, not seeing your food diary, it is pretty much impossible to make comments beyond what Ninerbuff has said, don't stop. Weight loss is not liner, it can a times go steadily down. Other times it doesn't seem to change at all, then suddenly comes off in one shot. For that matter, the scale is probably the worst way to measure your success. If you have not taken measurements before this, do so now (chest, waist, hips) as that will show you a lot more.
