So confused about shakes!

I tend to drink the shakes as a breakfast, like many here have said. I get light-headed if I don't eat before I take the bus, and I always ran out of time or was late to work, so shakes are perfect. I got the EAS Chocolate flavor at Target and it was reasonable. I also thought I'd be drinking them on days I was short on protein or after workouts, but I generally don't have enough calories for them. The powder is 130 calories and I mix it with 1% milk (no blender so it's a straight up milkshake). I tried it with water and that was too horrible to do again. Not sure if there are lower calorie shakes on the market I could try?0
