I need to create a spreadsheet for my workouts. Can someone explain to me how I can accomplish this daunting task!:grumble:

Ummm...have you used Excel at all before? It's hard to explain this is writing. You don't really need to use any formulas or anything if you're just going to log progress (weight/reps/time/etc.).
The basics assuming you know nothing: columns are vertical, rows are horizontal, and cells are the individual boxes. So on the first column, I would put each different exercise you're doing, and perhaps underneath each exercise you can put what it is you're tracking (such as weight and reps.) So it would look like with each line being a different cell:
Barbell Squats
Weight
Reps
Then for each column to the right of this, write the date of a workout at the top, and then below, within the according row. A rough example would be:
Barbell Squats
Weight 135lb.
Reps 3x5
Hopefully this makes sense.
EDIT: MFP didn't format my second example the way I wanted, but the weight and reps would be in the column of said date, and in the same rows of "Weight" and "Reps"0
