    where I'm from we call them "telephone poles" or "electrical poles," not "telephone posts" or "electrical posts," so maybe it's a regional thing? Perhaps I should take a poll?

    I thought it might be a British vs. American thing, but most of the people who thought it was hilarious don't have a location visible.
