Accident Prone?

So last night I kind of got my feelings hurt when my bootcamp trainer said I was accident prone. I actually consider myself pretty cooridinated. I was a good athlete when I was younger and in shape, I am very aware of my body and can make adjustments to excercise form easily, and I'm a good dancer!
Since I have started bootcamp two months ago I have had a pulled groin muscle (first week of bootcamp), a pulled upper back/neck muscle, and generally sore knees and elbows from all of the bodyweight exercises and new stress I am putting on my body. I push through as best I can with the weak knees and elbows. Other than the minor adjustments I make to the moves for these injuries (like a squat instead of squat jump), I go BALLS TO THE WALL every workout. I am not phoning it in at all, and am giving everything I do 100% of my effort.
I did about 200 jumping jacks last night, and ended up slightly twisting my knee by the time it was all said and done. I couldnt' do the burpees we were supposed to do, and did pushups instead. Afterwards, the trainer said that I was "accident prone." So to me he either literally thinks that I am accident prone (ie uncooridinated) or that I'm making excuses--and he should know I don't do that.
I wanted to say that I have the same joints as everyone else in that room, but I'm carrying 100 pounds more weight, and am out of shape. To me that is a pretty good reason as to why I might get injured more often that someone that was taking it easy, or is thin and isn't flinging around 100 extra pounds on a small frame. I thought this was a good reason, but I didn't want to say out loud in front of the whole room that I am 100 pounds overweight and out of shape, and that might have something to do with it.
Am I making excuses? Do these temporary injuries sound like I'm accident prone?

Accident prone doesn't necessarily mean uncoordinated! I'm horribly accident prone, and I've been a dancer most of my life! I have better balance than nearly all of my friends, and I'm far more physically fit too. I just tend to have more accidents then they all do, combined. Seriously! Walls jump out and get me all the time. I like to think it's because I push myself harder than the rest!
Edit - Man, you'd think I didn't proof-read with all the spelling mistakes I make anymore! Geesh! (fixed most)0 -
They sound like your bones/tendonds/joints need a little more time to adapt, is all. They will generally strengthen to meet the stress you put on them, to some degree.0
