I started Kosama 3 weeks ago. I eat 1700 calories per day religiously and workout with Kosama 6 days a week for an hour. The workouts range from kettlebells (strength) to kickboxing, plyo and yoga. I started this program weighing 190.4 pounds. Last week I was down to 188.8, but this week I'm right back up at 190.6? I don't understand how this is possible. I have been sore pretty much every day since starting this program, so is it possible that I'm retaining water? I'm getting very scared, as I have to lose one size by May 19 in order to fit into a Maid of Honor dress that I (stupidly) ordered a size too small as motivation. I was so excited when I saw the scale say 188.8 and thought for sure that the weight would keep coming off and it obviously hasn't. Does anyone have any advice?

Take your measurements! I thought my workout wasn't working when I lost only 1 lb, but I lost 6.5"!:flowerforyou:
And you will usually gain or maintain the first few weeks of any new workout (especially) strength as your muscles are grabbing water. It's temporary, keep going.0 -
Thank you! I will take my measurements tonight! We measured when the program began and I copied all my information down to take home with me. Hopefully that will tell me whether or not it's working! I appreciate the advice0

This is so true!! I have a 40th birthday coming up on May 13th and I ordered my dress in a size 8 (I was wearing a size 12). In January, I started consistently working out with my trainer doing strength training 3 days a week and cardio casually whenever. By February, I dropped one pants size (10), but my scale barely moved. I added another day of strength training and started doing cardio (intervals) 4 days a week the last week of February. My scale went up atleast 5lbs but my inches were decreasing. I decided to increase my daily calories because my workouts are now more intense. Well, over the past 3 days I have weighed myself and I am down 6lbs and my size 10's are becoming loose. I certainly know I will be in my dress before my party on May 12th. I hope this helps a little!!0
