There's so much info out there. How often do most of you do cardio/strength training per week? And do you switch off the days you do cardio and strength training or do you do both every day?

Three on and one off (rest) has been recomended to me and has been working well with regard to recovery and injuries. Usually combo, but some days more metabolic conditioning, some more straight strength.
This doesn't fit into a 7 day week very well however, your days will always be off week to week. And I often end up with two rest days on the weekend.0 -
Thanks, that helps!0

I do every other day as lighting (per stronglifts)
I do cardio 6 days a week.
The frequency of lifting you should do depends on your level. Beginners will need more rest between working the same muscle sets. Your body needs time to adapts its nervous system along with growing muscles.0 -
I do 4 days of strength training...2 for upper/abs, 2 for lower body. 2 other days for cardio. One day a week is rest. It's the pattern I enjoy right now.0

I do 3 days of each, alternating cardio & lifting, but once my kids are out of school for the summer, I'm going to try & run before work & lift at lunch.0

I do cardio 60 days a week, about 40 mins total with warmup and cooldown. I do elliptical Monday & Friday, run Tuesday & Thursday, Spin Wednesday, then Saturday I do a super-set (of sorts) of running and spinning.
I strength train 3-4 days a week making sure to give each muscle group at least a day off in between.0 -
I do cardio every day, I do strength 3 days a week. I'll be dialing back the cardio once I am a little lighter! Right now, it works for me!0

I cardio everyday. I strength train every other day. I will take a day off from cardio every now and then on a day that I don't strength train.0

Okay for the last month I have done strength training 3-5 times a week and cardio 3-5 times a week. When I feel too tired I don't workout. If I feel strong I workout even if I'm on a 'rest' day.0

You guys are great! I try to work out 5-6 days a week so I'm thinking I'll start doing cardio every day and strength training 2-3 times a week on top of the cardio until I get my weight down a little more?0
