Took the plunge - fit bit

I just ordered the fitbit ultra off amazon. I heard it's quite addictive. Anyone here have one and if so, how do you find it? I really like the sleep tracker on it, as I sleep like crap. Just wondered if anyone had one and how they found it.

If you go to the top right of your screen and click on "tools" there's a thing there about the fitbit. I ordered it off amazon because it was cheaper. It tracks all your steps, movements, calories....it's really cool. I read a lot of great reviews on it and decided to go for it. You sync it with the fitbit website and you can track everything.0 -
I love my fitbit. It doesn't have a HRM, but it'll track everything else, including sleep. Since I have sleep apnea, it's nice that I can see how well I sleep & what times I wake up. The fact that you can link it to your MFP account makes it easier to track your exercise.0

I absolutely love my fit bit. Worth every penny. And it really does help on those mornings you wake up and swear you got a good night sleep, but feel exhausted anyway! I'm usually in motion a large part of the night! The fitbit taught me that. Love that option. Plus I like earning the badges on the website. Too funny. I find it very motivational!0

Does it count calories? I would assume not if it doesnt have a HRM right?0

It counts calories burned, steps taken, distance traveled & flights of stairs climbed. It also has a timer on it for when you run, lift weights or anything else you want to keep track of.0 -
i just got mine about a week ago and i love it so far. i use my HRM for my actual work outs where i want a more accurate idea of calories burned. but, i LOVE seeing my daily burn based on just living my life. i love seeing my sleep patterns, and how much i walk, etc. it is super cool. it's also made me very much aware of just how badly i have been under eating :-(
so, hopefully it will help me get those calories up and lbs of fat OFF!!!! :-)0 -
Thanks for the responses.....good to know. I'm looking forward to getting it. :happy:0
