Calorie Base Line?

I can't seem to figure out what setting my MFP should be on...
I changed it down to lightly active as I do have a desk job & sit for a good part of the evening --- I average anywhere from 10-14+ hrs a week in the gym (thank you polar for tracking I don't go crazy all at once, usually split into am or pm runs & fit weight training/classes in most days...I like to keep busy!
Also I don't know how I feel about the "exercise burned" calories being a surplus I can eat....maybe now since I've cut my total intake down, but before when I was up 15-2000 it kept me where I am....trying to lean out for summer --cal cut time!
Any help/information would be greatly appreciated!!
