What do you think of MOTOACTV?

I am thinking about getting one. I currently am using Runkeeper as an app on my phone, but the phone is a bit bulky to wear while I'm running. I am interested in opinions of the MOTOACTV.

Thanks!

I have it and I LOVE it. I bike, run and workout at the gym. It tracks everything I do including daily steps. Its a little quirky at times, but they are actively updating the software all the time.

The customer service is TOP NOTCH!

My recommendations if you get it, before you do anything download and install ALL of the updates. Then set it up, then contact customer service and ask for the rubber plug for the headphone jack.

I've started using my smartphone (which isn't flawless) and am waiting for my Zephyr HxM to arrive in the mail. Does anyone know whether the Zephyr and MotoActv talk to each-other?

got and and love it, only problem is i use strava and they dont have a compatible upload method...my biggest gripe

oh and if you like the longer endurance exercises +5 hours you could run into battery issues...my Garmin's battery was good for like 16+ hours for comparison

If I remember correctly, the Zephyr is Bluetooth. I can't remember if its the lower energy/low power which should be similar to the ANT sensors as far as power consumption. Good news is that you can use it with your phone, like Jogtrackerpro or Strava.

Now how the battery life of the Motoactv is compared to BT/ANT+ is beyond me.
