I agree it has to do with learning to love yourself, but a helpful tip might be to try to recognize it when you're doing it. Maybe you don't have to understand the WHY yet, but if you can at least catch yourself doing it, try to force yourself to change the comparison game. See someone else and say something positive about them that you also share. Or one good thing about yourself before finding one good thing about them. It's not getting into the habit of putting others down to feel better about yourself--corny, but sharing love for even strangers (doesn't have to be out loud) will help you feel more confident about complimenting yourself.0
